Yes. This is an outdoor escape-room-style game played on your phone. You follow clues from place to place around central Leominster and crack puzzles set in what is in front of you, with a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel and original Oz-themed songs in the app.
Where does the game start and finish?
It starts at the Leominster District Court entrance on School St and finishes back at the same spot. Along the way the route passes Central Park, Leominster City Hall, Monument Square and several stops on West St, Pleasant St and Adams St, covering about 1.7 km in total.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan on around 90 minutes, depending on how quickly your team solves the puzzles. You can pause at any point, stop for food or a rest, and continue later from where you left off, so there is no need to finish in one go.
