Domande frequenti
Which Krakow legends does this quest cover?
It draws on Old Town myths and legends, with a stop at the Wawel Dragon statue. You play a poor young artist whose mother is gravely ill and who hopes to impress Stanislaw Wyspianski, following clues past places such as the Jan Matejko House, Jama Michalika and St. Florian's Gate.
Is this a Krakow walking tour app or a game?
Both. It is a self-guided walk played on your phone. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever you like.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at the Krakow Barbakan fortifications, so you end up back where you began. The route is about 3.2 km through the Old Town and takes a little over an hour, with stops including Saints Peter and Paul Church, the Town Hall Tower and the Adam Mickiewicz Monument.
Do we need to book a time, and can we play in the evening?
No booking slot is needed. You can start any time and pause to continue later, which helps if you stop for a coffee. The quest does recommend not playing at night, so plan to walk it during daylight hours.
Can our group play together?
Yes. One ticket covers your whole group, so friends, couples and families can solve the puzzles together as you walk. It is outdoors through the streets of the Old Town, so dress for the weather.
