No. There is no guide to book. The app leads you from stop to stop, tells the story of each place and sets the puzzles. You can start whenever you like, and no attraction tickets are needed along the route.
Is this a good thing to do in Gdansk at the weekend?
Yes, if you have about three hours and want to be outside. You start when it suits you, play at your own pace, and can pause for coffee or lunch and carry on later. It suits friends, couples, families and locals who think they already know the Old Town.
What will we see along the route?
The 3.8 km route takes in St. Mary's Basilica with its hidden clock and sundial, the sundial for Jan Heweliusz, Gradowa Mountain, the railway station clock tower, St. Catherine's and St. John's churches, the Gdansk Crane, City Hall and its sundial clock, and a watchmaker's workshop.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts and finishes at St. Mary's Basilica, so you end up back where you began. Allow about three hours for the 3.8 km walk and the puzzles, longer if you stop to eat. You can pause at any point and continue later.

Yes, one ticket covers your whole group, so you can solve the puzzles together. The game is played outdoors on the streets of Gdansk, so bring a jacket in wet weather, or pause and pick it up again when the rain clears.
