Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is there an outdoor escape game in El Paso, TX?
Yes. This one is played on your phone in downtown El Paso. Clues lead you between real places such as Hotel Paso Del Norte, the O. T. Bassett Tower and El Paso City Hall. Each stop tells part of the story and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you.
How is this different from an indoor escape room in El Paso?
Instead of a locked room, you walk a 2 km route outdoors and solve puzzles at each stop. There is no guide and no group to join, so you start whenever you like and can pause and continue later. One ticket covers the whole group playing together.
What is the Oz story behind the game?
The narrative is inspired by L. Frank Baum's original Oz novel from 1900. You join a team of misfits and try to outsmart the witch by cracking her puzzles. Original Oz-themed songs were created for the game, and you can play them in the app and on demand once you are home.
How long does it take and where does it start?
Most players take around 90 minutes, walking and puzzles included. The 2 km loop starts and finishes at the Plaza Theatre, passing Starr Western Wear, the Federal Reserve Bank and San Jacinto Plaza along the way. You can pause at any point and pick up later.
Can I play on my own?
Yes. You can tackle the witch's challenges solo and compare your result against the leaderboard, or team up with friends and solve the puzzles together. Either way, you start at the Plaza Theatre whenever suits you, with no time slot to book.
