How do we get tickets?
You buy the quest and play it in the Questo app on your phone. There is no time slot to reserve, so you can start whenever your group reaches the starting plaza. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated.
Is there a Wizard of Oz experience in Denver?
Yes. This is an outdoor escape-room-style game with a new story inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel. You team up with a band of misfits to outsmart the witch through puzzles around Cherry Creek, with original Oz-themed songs in the app that you can replay at home.
Where does it start and how long does it take?
It starts at the plaza on the corner of E 3rd Ave and Milwaukee St, across the street from the Ross-Cherry Creek Branch of Denver Public Library. Plan on around 90 minutes for about 2.1 km and ten stops, finishing at the Tower of Man Sculpture.
How is it different from an indoor escape room?
You get the same teamwork of cracking puzzles and following clues, but outdoors on Denver's streets instead of in a locked room. There is no fixed booking time, so you start when it suits you, and players can also go solo and compete on the leaderboard.
Can we pause, and what if it rains?
You can pause at any point and continue later from where you stopped, which helps if you want a break at one of the cafes or restaurants along the route. The whole game is played outdoors, so check the forecast and dress for the weather.
What makes this quest different from just wandering Cherry Creek?
Because you’re part of Oz. You’ll walk ~2.1 km around downtown, solve puzzles tied to the Oz story, hear original songs, and notice spots you’ve passed before but never saw in this way. It turns Cherry Creek into a fairy-tale trail.

Absolutely. Start near the Ross-Cherry Creek Library branch, stroll through murals and plazas, solve clues together, then finish nearby for drinks. The mix of story, sunset possibilities, and shared mystery makes for a memorable date.
