Domande frequenti
What does this Kreuzberg tour of Berlin cover?
The route crosses Kreuzberg via Viktoriapark and its Cascades, Mehringdamm, Marheineke Markthalle, Friedrichwerderscher Friedhof, Kirche am Südstern, the Fichtebunker, Admiralbrücke, the Landwehr Canal at Paul-Lincke-Ufer, SO36, the Feuerwehrbrunnen and Kunstraum Bethanien. The app tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle in what is in front of you.
What is the secret society story and its puzzles about?
You play a student newly arrived in Berlin who finds an unsigned note under the dorm door on the first morning, telling you to head to St. Thomas Church. Following real clues through the streets of Kreuzberg, you slowly uncover a secret network and work out who sent the note and why.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at St. Thomas Church in Kreuzberg and loops back there at the end, so you finish where you began. You can start at any time that suits you, with no need to book a slot or meet a group or guide.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Plan on about three hours for the 4.9 km route, and it is best done during the day. You can pause whenever you like, stop for food along the way, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it good for kids, and can we play as a group?
It is recommended for families, and works best with children who can manage nearly 5 km of walking and enjoy solving clues. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the stated number of devices, so everyone can follow the story together.
