In walking order: the Victory Column, the Rosengarten, the memorial to the victims of the Wall, the Soviet War Memorial, the Brandenburg Gate, the Global Stone Project, the Richard Wagner monument, the Berliner Philharmonie and the Boulevard der Stars, finishing at Potsdamer Platz station.
Does the route pass the Brandenburg Gate?
Yes. The Brandenburg Gate is the fifth stop, reached after the Soviet War Memorial Tiergarten and followed by the Global Stone Project. The app tells the story of each place and sets a puzzle based on what is in front of you.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Victory Column in the middle of Tiergarten and finishes at Berlin Potsdamer Platz Bahnhof. It is not a loop, so you end up at Potsdamer Platz rather than back where you began, which is handy for onward trains.
How long does it take and how far is it?
Most players take two and a half hours or a little more, walking and puzzles included, over about 5.7 km. You can pause at any point, take a break on the park lawns, and continue later from where you stopped.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
One ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no set time to book and no group to join: start whenever suits you and walk at your own pace without a guide.
