From Bentonville City Square, this outdoor escape game covers about 2.5 km past the 21c Museum Hotel, the public library and the OZART Launch Intention sculpture, with puzzles inspired by Baum's 1900 Oz novel. Friends, families, couples and solo leaderboard chasers get escape-room teamwork outdoors, starting whenever they like. Anyone wanting an indoor room, or not up to around 90 minutes on foot, should book a classic escape room instead.

Instead of a locked room, you follow clues through downtown Bentonville and crack puzzles at 10 stops, including 21c Museum Hotel, Bentonville Public Library and the OZART Launch Intention Sculpture, while a story based on Baum's original Oz novel unfolds.
Where does the game start and finish?
You start at 1 Bentonville City Square. From there the clues lead you to stops around the downtown area, such as Ozark Mountain Bagel Co. on the Square, Hemma Homewares and Tusk & Trotter American Brasserie, with the final stop at Motto by Hilton - Junto.
How long does it take and how far do we walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes to cover about 2.5 km on foot, though your pace depends on how quickly your team solves the puzzles. You can pause at any point and continue later, so there is no need to finish in one go.
Do we need to book a time, and can our whole group play together?
There is no booking slot. You start whenever you like, day or evening. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends can solve together. If you prefer, you can also play solo and compete on the leaderboard.

Yes, the game is played outdoors on the streets of downtown Bentonville, so dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Because you can pause and pick it up again later, you can stop if the rain sets in and finish the remaining stops another time.
