Informazioni su questa esperienza
All roads lead to Rome. But roads work both ways. Augustus knew that better than anyone. While the world was busy marching toward Rome, he was quietly moving his most dangerous secrets out. He needed a place to hide the Imperial Regalia and he chose this city to keep them safe.
This wasn't some random choice; it was a calculated move. He left the location with one man, who encoded the map across landmarks using symbols carved into the city's oldest stones. Those marks are still there, hiding in plain sight while you grab your morning coffee or walk to work.
You receive the first clue from a source who refuses to identify themselves. The greatest personal treasury ever assembled is waiting for someone with the right eyes to find it. Are you ready to claim what Augustus left behind?
Fa per voi?
Per chi è
Couples, friends and families with teens or older children get around 90 minutes of spotting symbols in central Amsterdam, following a Roman story about Augustus hiding the Imperial Regalia here. The walk links Westerkerk, De Nieuwe Kerk, the Royal Palace and the Embassy of the Free Mind. If you want a live guide to answer your questions, or a 3.2 km walk between clues is too far, pick something else.

Qualche risposta prima di partire
Domande frequenti
Is there a treasure hunt in Amsterdam about lost gold?
Yes. This self-guided treasure hunt is built on a story about Augustus moving the Imperial Regalia out of Rome and hiding them in Amsterdam. One man encoded the location across landmarks using symbols in the city's oldest stones, and you follow those clues on your phone.
Where does the quest start and which places does it pass?
It starts at Beursplein. The route takes in Westerkerk, De Nieuwe Kerk, the Multatuli Statue, the Royal Palace, the Eerste Hollandsche Levensverzekerings Bank, the Embassy of the Free Mind, Herenstraat, Hotel The Craftsmen and Spuistraat.
How long does it take and how far is the walk?
Plan on around 90 minutes for a walk of about 3.2 km. It is self-paced, so you can pause whenever you like, stop for a coffee and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for children?
It suits teens and older children best. The puzzles ask you to read details in what is in front of you, such as symbols on old buildings, and the story about Augustus and the hidden Imperial Regalia works well for young people who enjoy codes and Roman history.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
No time slot is needed: you start whenever you want, with no guide and no group to join. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends or family can solve the clues together.
