A hooded Oracle needs a ghost hunter. Every spirit is stuck on unfinished business: solve its mystery, catch it, and it gives up a clue. Follow the trail across town, crack ciphers and riddles (some only the street itself can answer), then name the Evil One and destroy it before it finds you. 🕷️

Ten restless spirits roam Amsterdam's streets in this Halloween hunt, and over about 90 minutes you track them across town, cracking ciphers and street-based riddles before naming the Evil One. Friends, couples, families with older kids and escape-room fans who prefer playing to listening get the most from it. If you want a live guide to question, or a gentle outing for young children, choose something else.

Is this a Halloween ghost hunt?
Yes. The story is set at Halloween: ten restless spirits are loose on the city's streets, each stuck on unfinished business. Solve a spirit's mystery, catch it and it gives up a clue. Follow the clues to name the Evil One and destroy it. You can still play it at any time of year.
Does it tell the real haunted history of Amsterdam?
No. The spirits are original characters, and no history book or tour guide knows their names. The city still plays its part, because some riddles can only be answered by looking at the street in front of you, but the ghost story itself is fiction.
How long does it take, and can we take a break?
Plan for about 90 minutes, depending on how quickly your group cracks the ciphers and riddles. You can pause whenever you like and continue later, so stopping for food or a drink along the way is no problem.
Do we need to book a time, and can our group play together?
There is no fixed start time and no guide, so you begin whenever suits you. The game runs on your phone and one ticket covers your whole group, which makes it easy to play as friends, a couple or a family.
Is it suitable for kids?
The theme is horror and haunts, with lost souls and an evil spirit to destroy, and the puzzles include ciphers and riddles. It suits older children and teens who enjoy a spooky story and can work through codes with an adult. Young children may find it too scary or too hard.
