Câteva răspunsuri înainte de plecare
Întrebări frecvente
What will I see on a Christmas walk through Milan?
The route takes in the festively decorated city center: Piazza Duomo, Piazza Diaz, Piazza dei Mercanti, Piazza Cordusio, Leonardo da Vinci's monument, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II and La Rinascente. Along the way you hear legends and curiosities about Christmas, and the quest ends with how to enjoy panettone like a true Milanese.
Where does the walk start and how long does it take?
It starts at the 3D Map of the center of Milan for the blind, near the Duomo, and finishes back at the same spot. The route is about 2.3 km and takes around an hour, though you can pause at any point and continue later.
Is it better to go during the day or at night?
To see the holiday lights, nighttime is the better choice, as the squares and Christmas trees are at their most glittering after dark. The walk is outdoors, and note that parts of the route may be affected by temporary construction work in the city center.
Is it suitable for children?
Yes, families are welcome, and the Christmas stories and puzzles suit children who enjoy the festive decorations. Kids under 12 should be guided by their parents, so plan to solve the puzzles together and keep the phone in an adult's hands near busy squares.
Do we need to book a time or buy entry tickets?
No time slot is needed: you start whenever you like and can pause and resume later. No attractions tickets are required for any stop, and one ticket covers your whole group, playing on up to the number of devices stated.
