Join us on a walk through 1891 Diss with our hero Edward. 

Learn about life in Diss in the 19th Century, the sights, characters, and industries that have helped to create the town we love today. 

We will need to race against the clock, solving puzzles to progress to the next step.

Time is of the essence, as Edward is becoming increasingly weak due to his influenza. We need to catch up with Rose before influenza - and some bizarre remedies - catch up with us!

Families with school-age children and couples curious about local history can follow Edward through 1891 Diss, solving puzzles at places such as St Mary's Church, the Corn Hall and Gostlings Chemist as he races to catch up with Rose before his influenza wins. It is a short town-centre walk of about 1 km, taking around 80 minutes. Anyone hoping for a live guide to quiz, or a longer walk, should choose something else.

It starts at Diss Park and finishes at Diss Market, so it does not return to the start. Along the way you pass 12 stops, including Mere's Mouth, the Market Place, St Mary's Church, the Saracen's Head, the Corn Hall and the Tudor House, covering about 1 km.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take around 80 minutes, including walking and solving the puzzles. You can start whenever you like, pause partway through for a break and continue later from where you stopped.
