Câteva răspunsuri înainte de plecare
Întrebări frecvente
Is this an Oz-themed escape room?
Yes, it is an outdoor escape-room-style game inspired by L. Frank Baum's original 1900 Oz novel. You follow clues on your phone to each new location, crack puzzles to outsmart the witch, and hear original Oz songs made for the game, which you can also play back at home.
Where does the Oz game in Austin start and finish?
It starts in front of Macy's in The Domain area and loops for about 2.1 km past spots such as The NORTHSIDE Lawn on Rock Rose Ave, Sprinkles Austin and RH Austin The Gallery at the Domain, before finishing back where you began in front of Macy's.
How long does it take, and do we need to book a time?
Plan on around 90 minutes. There is no booking slot, so you can start whenever suits you, and you can pause the game and pick it up again later if you want a break for food or shopping along the way.
Can we play as a group or on our own?
Both work. One ticket covers your whole group, up to the number of devices stated, so friends, families or work groups can solve the puzzles together. If you prefer to play solo, you can take on the witch's challenges alone and compare your result on the leaderboard.
Is it good for kids, and what if it rains?
Families with kids or teens who enjoy puzzles and can walk about 2.1 km tend to suit it best, since the clues are escape-room style. The whole game is played outdoors between stops, so check the weather and dress for it before you set off.
