What is this Villa Borghese quest about?
It begins with dreams of whispering, sorrowful voices all calling one word: Borghese. You walk through the park following real-world clues and solving puzzles to uncover the stories of the souls trapped there, why you were chosen, what binds them to the place and whether they can be set free.
Where does the quest start and finish?
It starts at the Edicola della Musa and finishes at the Fontana Mosè. The route runs in one direction rather than as a loop, so you end up at a different spot in the park from where you began.
How long does it take and how far will we walk?
Most players take about two hours, including walking and puzzle solving, and cover around 3.2 km across 12 stops. You can start whenever you like, pause along the way and continue later.
What will we see in Villa Borghese along the way?
The route passes the Monumento a Goethe, the Temple of Diane, the Monument of Umberto I, Piazzale del Museo Borghese, Casino della Meridiana, the Alpino monument, Fonte Gaia, the Mostra dell'Acqua Felice, the Pincio water clock and the bust of Galileo Galilei before ending at the Fontana Mosè.
Can we play as a group, and do we need tickets for any sites?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on the walk. No attraction tickets are required for any of the stops, and there is no fixed time slot or group to join, so you can set off whenever suits you.
