The year is 1934. Berlin is one year into Nazi rule, and a Jewish family needs your help.

As the American-born child of German immigrants, you've been sent to find Alfred Blum, a young man in hiding, and get him out of the country. To do it, you'll need to navigate a chain of underground contacts through the city's most historic districts: the old Jewish clothing quarter at Hausvogteiplatz, the Friedrichswerdersche Kirche, Humboldt University, Museum Island, and the Oranienburger Strasse.

Solve coded puzzles, follow hidden clues, and piece together a network of strangers who are each risking something to help one person escape. This is Berlin's most historically grounded walking game, part self-guided city tour, part outdoor escape room, entirely immersive.

The city is watching. Move carefully.

A missão: A tua história em Berlin

It's 1934 and you must help a young man leave Nazi Germany.

You're the American-born child of German immigrants, visiting for the first time the country of your parents.

They know that some of their old friends might be having a hard time after the Nazis came to power one year ago, so they've asked you to visit the Blum family in Berlin and ask if you can help them in any way.

You're going to help Mr.

and Mrs. Blum get their son Alfred out of the country.

They know he's hiding somewhere in the city, and they know a man with connections in the underworld who knows his location.

If you find this man, he'll help you secure a fake passport for Alfred to leave Germany.

You'll move through the old clothing industry center, the university district, and a historically Jewish neighborhood , a city that has been changing fast since Hitler was appointed chancellor.

You need to hurry. You don't know how much worse things might get for people like Alfred.

Perguntas frequentes

What’s the deal with this quest?

You follow the Blum family’s story: they’re Jewish in Nazi-Berlin and things are getting dangerous. You solve clues, sneak through streets, try to help them survive. It’s intense, emotional, but also powerful and meaningful.

Is this good for a date?

Yes—if you want something more than dinner. This has weight, emotion, shared moments that stick with you. Walking together, solving, remembering—it can be really special.

What spots in Berlin will we see?

You’ll pass important historical landmarks (Mitte area), possibly places tied to Jewish history, reminders of WWII, plus streets that show both beauty and scars—lesser-known corners that make the story real.

Do we have to go with a guide or join a group?

Nope. It’s self-guided. You open it on your phone, start where the quest says, and go however fast or slow you want.

Will locals still learn something new?

Yes, totally. Even if you know Berlin well, stories around WWII and Jewish heritage are deep, many details are easy to miss. The quest highlights those angles many walk past without noticing.

How hard are the puzzles? Will we get stuck?

They’re challenging but fair. You’ll have moments of “aha!” and maybe confusion, but nothing so hard you want to give up. Pauses are part of the journey.
