Domande frequenti

What’s the story behind Old Town Quebec: European Charm?

You’re a soldier who survived the Battle of the Plains of Abraham in 1759, and you’re carrying a secret letter detailing a new British attack. Your mission: find General Montcalm in the citadel, pass along the message, and help defend Québec before it’s too late.

Who will enjoy this quest most — history fans, couples, or families?

It’s great for history buffs who love the colonial past. ALSO good for couples who like romantic old-town walks + mystery. Families with older kids who can follow a plot and don’t mind a little urgency will also dig it.

What landmarks will we pass by / see?

You’ll start at Fontaine de Tourny, go along the Fortifications, visit Place Royale, the founding place of Québec City, the Hôtel de Ville square, and stop by quirky spots like the cannonball tree. Hidden gems, not just big monuments.

Will locals discover something new doing this?

Definitely. Even folks familiar with Québec City say they learn stories, see alleys or plaques they never noticed. The clues pull up details of the past people walk right past normally.
