What is the Ghosts of Turin quest about?
You play a seeker of magic whose spell to glimpse the past goes wrong, leaving you trapped between worlds. To return to the living, you follow real-world clues and solve arcane puzzles through Turin's haunted corners, including the Santuario della Consolata, the Palatine Towers, Madama Palace and the Gates of Hell.
Where does the walk start and finish?
It starts at Piazza Statuto and finishes at Ponte Vittorio Emanuele I, so it does not bring you back to the start. The route covers about 4.9 km, passing Piazza Castello, Piazza San Carlo, Via Po and the Parrocchia SS. Annunziata along the way.
How long does it take, and can we pause?
Most players take close to three hours, including walking and solving the puzzles. There is no guide or group to keep up with, so you can pause the quest, stop for a drink or dinner, and continue later from where you left off.
Is it suitable for children?
No. The quest is tagged as not for kids and tells an eerie horror story built around spells, haunted places and spots such as the Rondò della Forca and the Gates of Hell. It is written for adults and groups of friends who enjoy the dark side of a city.
Can we play as a group, and do we need to book a time?
Yes, one ticket covers the whole group playing together on a phone. There is no time slot to book: you start whenever you like. The quest is best played at night, when the story and the streets feel at their most haunted.
