Explore one of Bangkok's most storied neighbourhoods: Yaowarat, the city's historic Chinatown. Follow a path through lesser-walked alleys, taking in the colours, smells and layered history of a district shaped by centuries of Thai-Chinese life.
Visit Wat Traimit and its extraordinary solid-gold Buddha, step inside ornate Chinese temples, and discover local markets where traders have worked the same streets for generations. Along the way, taste a bitter-sweet herbal tea at a century-old shop, sip Chaozhou coffee brewed to a secret recipe, and browse the gold shops that have made Yaowarat Road famous across Southeast Asia.
